Released in 1987 – Nekromantik became a cult movie that simply disturbs and sickens the public. Do not read this article if you don’t wanna get nightmares.
Okay ladies and gentlemen – this is one sick movie that I saw and I can say it’s not for everyone to see.
It has a certain thing about it. Themes like necrophilia and cannibalism, suicide, murder – in one expression – visual violence.
The gore is taken to another level. The story centers around a fucked up individual – who works at a company that deals with dead bodies.
This one and his girlfriend [sick fucks both of them] enjoy bringing corpses home and…try to have a good time around them. Most of the film I was like – WTF?!? 😐
The depiction of death is quite similar to reality. Sometimes you have the impression that this thing it’s for real. But it’s not. Just a motion picture released in order to express the image of a sick mind.
What impressed me was the so called message – when the protagonist has that dream where he feels a creepy freedom – he comes out of the body-bag and starts playing with human flesh with the angel.
If you look for this movie to see some morbid art – that is okay. But if you simply want to entertain yourself, do not try this movie. You’ll be changed forever.
From the director and writer Koji Shiraishi, here comes:
Grotesque: Unrated Version
Grotesque is a japanese horror-gore themed movie, produced this year and directed by Koji Shiraishi. The story behind this production is quite simple. A japanese surgeon [Shigeo Osako], obsessed with mutilating and torturing people is picking up his next victims. A young couple, Kazuo [Hiroaki Kawatsure] and Aki [Tsugumi Nagasawa] will soon discover the real struggle to survive.
Everything begins with their first date and they will be together till the end.
The lights and the shooting place are just similar to those in Saw. Of course the story is different, but not totaly original. The movie’s idea is just like in the “Guinea Pig” and “Hostel” where are doctors who torture people. [that’s why I hate doctors and hospitals…damn]
Kon’nichi-wa beautiful! So…for the first time here? Well, she’s there for the first and the last time. Not kind of my favourite character but…you’ll all see in the movie.
Now, this guy is very brave. He endures the torture just for a girl he just met. A true gentleman.
The Japanese Chainsaw Massacre – there are too many movies in which there are chainsaws as weapons…just too many.
False hopes…that’s what everybody fears.
Not the best movie you’ll ever see, but you know…for time to pass or just because brings you closer to japanese entertainment. [5.4 on imdb]
